June 1 – 7 is National CPR and AED Awareness Week

Get Trained and Save a Life

Portable AED/Home Defibrillator

Folks this is important Information

National CPR and AED Awareness Week is June 1-7 and spotlights how lives can be saved if more Americans know CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

During the week of June 1-7, Red Cross chapters across the country will conduct CPR/AED classes, demonstrations, and events to raise awareness on the importance of CPR and AED training. It is especially important to arm yourself with the ability to save lives by getting trained in CPR and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Make a commitment to get trained before the summer begins!

Your local Red Cross chapter can give you the training you need to be ready to respond in an emergency situation with skills that can save a life through CPR and AED programs.

"The vision of the American Red Cross is that at least one person in every household (or business location) be trained in life-saving first aid, CPR, and defibrillator use, and that every American be within 4 minutes of a defibrillator". For that reason many families are buying their own defibrillator and keeping it at home for quick response within that 4 minute period. It saves lives!
